Welcome to XOOPServer!

We are about to start a new adventure in the open source environment of XOOPS Cube's Web Application Platform.

Xoopserver is a single project based on open source technology used to develop most of popular web applications alike XOOPS Cube.

For some of us (developers and designers), XOOPS Cube is almost a way of life, not as much as a creed nor as little as a hobby. It's a quest of true freedom. It's about real passion!

Even some others would rather say 'an obsession'... it's not fundamentally a negative meaning. Because It's also a very friendly and heterogeneous bunch of people with different but complementary competences arguing together under several community sites and personal blogs, trying to build a voice without losing in the way our "joie de vivre"! ^^

XOOPS Cube Legacy

Just now, for most of us, XOOPS Cube Legacy is an intelligent management of Xoops legacy code. XOOPS Cube Legacy can run your old Xoops modules and favorite themes while you experiment a new level of interaction and creative freedom.

Customize your web site at an high level is one of XOOPS Cube Project advantages. But the real strength is the community members spirit.

The application of ergonomics principles to the Legacy modules interface makes the application really intuite and familiar to phpnuke, postnuke, mambo or joomla, and of course Xoops users.

The Package Legacy can run old Xoops modules but also osCommerce, Wordpress and Zen Cart, among the newest applications like Xigg which features an high level of social interaction with great ease.

XOOPS Cube is simple, secure and scalable and most of all, it sets you free to design, develop and manage your content with your favorite framework.

XOOPS Cube is a simple amazing system built with with PHP scripts, MySQL and the render system Smarty. In a word: Freedom!

Mikhail has suggested for long, new distributions, light packages for local support and also for different types of sites. We are going that way building and releasing whatever we'll have in mind!

Tools like Xoopserver-Wamp and Cubson are designed and compiled by Mikhail and Minahito. According to community members feedback and human interface researches, our efforts aim to simplify webmasters, designers and redactors on every-day tasks avoiding of any specific technical knowledge to create the site and publishing it.

The workshop and the tutorials step after step have also been considerate as a very attractive option. So, stay tuned as we still making some enhancements to the site and Legacy User Interface for the best web experience.
